VTF: Explanation for business results

Viet Thang Aquafeed (HOSE: VTF) has explained profit before tax in quarter 3/2011 increased VND36.93 billion beside quarter 3/2010 as follows:

- Net Revenue in quarter 3/2011 increased VND147.43 billion compared with the last same year but cost of goods sold reached VND128.77 billion leading to gross profit increased VND18.66 billion (48.42%). Reason: output prices increased 4.57% compared with the same last year 2010, the average net selling of finished products increased VND27.07% compared with the same last year but the average of costs increased VND26.93%

- Financial incomes in quarter 3/2011 increased VND2.66 billion compared with the same last year because in quarter 3/2011 the company has received profit from liabilities by VND2.31 billion

- Financial expenses in quarter 3/2011 decreased VND10.88 billion (54.442%) because the losses from rate difference exchange decreased VND6.39 billion and interest expenses decreased VND4.49 billion

- Selling expenses in quarter 3/2011 increased VND0.47 billion (19.24%) because selling product increased leading to expenses increased. Beside, material price increased and the staff costs increased.
