VKP: Explanation for business result in QIII/2011

Viky Plastic JSC (HOSE: VKP) has explained the fluctuation in profit and loss in Quarter 3/2011 compared to Quarter 3/2010:

• Total profit after tax in Quarter 3/2011 increased 75.8% from Quarter 3/2010 and cumulative profit after tax after the first nine months of 2011 rose 111.7% against the same period of last year, because of the following reasons:

• Revenue in Quarter 3/2011 grew 13% from Quarter 3/2010, and cumulative revenue of the first nine months of 2011 also increased 38.7% compared to the same period of last months. Besides, the selling price in Quarter 1, 2 & 3/2011 went up while the Company used mainly inventory materials from the end of 2010 and materials bought in early Quarter 1 & 2/2011

• The Company has effectively managed and controlled expenses, selling expense, administrative expense, borrowing interest.
