DQC: Explanation for business result in Q3.2011

Dien Quang JSC (HOSE: DQC) explained the fluctuation in profit before tax of Quarter 3/2011 compared to Quarter 3/2010:

- Profit before tax in Quarter 3/2011: VND31,020,169,887

- Profit after tax in Quarter 3/2010: VND16,531,939,655

Compared to Quarter 3/2010, profit in Quarter 3/2011 increased by VND14,488,230,232 (+187.6%) mainly because of the following reasons:

- The Company has controlled input material prices and operations, so the cost of goods sold decreased against Quarter 3/2010

- The Company was good in using money flow, so it decreased interest expense, foreign exchange rate and increased deposit interest.
