VIG: Explanation for 5 consecutive ceiling-hitting sessions

On 14/09/2011, Viet Nam Industrial & Commercial Securities JSC (HNX: VIG) explained the stock ceiling hitting for 5 consecutive sessions from 07/09/2011 to 13/09/2011 as follows:

In the first half of 2011, the stock market continuously reduced, the price of VIG and many other stocks declined following the stock market. However, since the last half of August, the market has signally recovered, following the trend of the stock market, VIG stock price consecutively hit the ceiling because of getting attention of investors. The operation of Viet Nam Industrial & Commercial Securities JSC was normal and the consecutive ceiling-hitting was out of Company’s control.
