TNT: TNT suspends the operation of Ha Noi - Dien Bien Co.

According to Vietnam’s Mineral Law (adjusted) effected from July 01, 2011, in order to reinforce the management of mineral activities, on August 30, 2011 the Government Office issued Official Document No.6033/VPCP-KTN on suspending to grant licenses for mineral exploration and exploitation in the country.

Therefore, Tai Nguyen Corporation (HOSE: TNT) would like to announce the suspension of lead and zinc exploration and exploitation activities in its subsidiary Ha Noi - Dien Bien Mineral and Resources Company Limited .

Ha Noi - Dien Bien Mineral and Resources Company Limited is located in Nam Bay, Mun Chung commune, Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province, and has the charter capital of VND10 billion. Total investment in Ha Noi - Dien Bien Mineral and Resources Company Limited until June 30, 2011 was VND31,915,517,036.
