GMD: Explanation for business result in 6 months of 2011

Gemadept Corporation (HOSE: GMD) explained the fluctuation in business result in the first six months of 2011 compared to the same period of last year:

- In the first six months of 2011, the parent company had a negative profit.

- The consolidated profit in the first six months of 2011:

- Profit in the first six months of 2011 decreased because in the period the parent company made a provision for financial investments worth VND70,770,862,995

- Besides, the cost of borrowing was VND34,958,329,861 higher than the same period of last year.
