CMV: Explanation for business result in Q2.2011

Camau Trading JSC (HOSE: CMV) explained the increase in revenue and profit in Quarter II/2011 compared to Quarter II/2010 as follows:

Revenue in Quarter II/2011 was VND969,575,343,119, increasing 10.27% from Quarter II/2010 because the following reasons:

• Prices of consumption goods and foodstuff have continuously increased because of inflation.

• The Company raised the grocery market share in Ca Mau province and others.

Profit before tax in Quarter II/2011 was VND12,546,876,009, increasing 31.92% from the same period of last year because:

• Profit in Quarter II rose because petrol price increased for the second time (In 2011) in late March 2011, and inventory was sold mainly in early February 2011.

• The increase in revenue helped profit rise too.
