TDH: Explanation for differences in the consolidated profit in QI.2011
Thu Duc Housing Development Corporation (HOSE: TDH) announced the fluctuation in the consolidated profit and loss in Quarter I/2011 compared to Quarter I/2010:

Net revenue from sales and services in Quarter I/2011 was VND120,762 million, increasing VND26,765 million (+28.47%) from the same period of last year. Profit after tax in Quarter I/2011 was VND20,885 million, decreasing 55.17% because of the following reasons:
- In Quarter I/2010, the Corporation’s other incomes were from withdrawing compensation of Binh An Project, worth VND32,936 million.
- Financial expense, market interest rate increased and made the Corporation’s financial expense increase from –VND209 million (Quarter I/2010) to VND11,858 million (Quarter I/2011), including two main items: cost of borrowing of VND8,372 million, and the provision for long-term securities investment of VND3,481 million.
- Besides, the increase in prices of input factors having also affected the Corporation’s profit and loss.
