DHG: Big explosion, 8 workers hospitalised

Around 18h45 on 03 August 2011, there is an explosion occurred in the drying area of Factory 1 (NonBeta Lactam Factory) of DHG Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, which located at 288 Bis Nguyen Van Cu Street, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City, Vietnam.

The Company’s Medical Function carried out to do basic first-aid for 08 workers who suffered from dermal injuries (caused by the broken glasses). These workers also transferred to Can Tho General Hospital to have further care. Until 23h of the same date, they all left the hospital after their health being better.

This accident just occurred at Factory 1, not influenced on the activities of other factories. Therefore, it would not be a big obstacle for DHG in term of delivering goods to the market for the company has a provision plan.

The Company, functional agencies and Insurance Company are examining the cause of this accident. We will send the official document to all of you after we find out the cause.
