The minimum wage subject to second rise after one year
The minimum wage willrise toVND830,000 ($39.5) from the beginning of May, an increase of VND100,000compared to the current level, according to the Government Decree No.22/2011/ND-CP issued on Monday.
The new wage level will beapplied at State agencies and enterprises, people's armed forces andsocio-political organisations and serve as the base for calculating othersubsidies for workers.
The monthly allowances andpensions will rise by 13.7 per cent.
The last time minimum wageadjusted was last May.
