VIS: Explanation for business result in Quarter 4.2010

Viet Nam – Italy Steel Joint Stock Company (VISCO) (HOSE: VIS) explained business result in Quarter 4/2010:

- Total production value: VND943,318 million, equal to 37% of year plan and 127% compared to Quarter 4/2009.

- Net revenue: VND754,764 million, equal to 33% of year plan and 107% compared to Quarter 4/2009.

- Profit after tax: VND43,442 million, equal to 72% of year plan and 83% compared to Quarter 4/2009.

- Output: 68,754 tons of steel, equal to 40% of year plan and 100% compared to Quarter 4/2009.

- Selling volume: 60,516 tons of steel, equal to 30% of year plan and 90% compared to Quarter 4/2009.

In short, financial norms in Quarter 4/2010 were satisfactory. Although they were lower than norms in the same period last year, there was sharp growth in 2010 when compared to the year plan and previous quarters in 2010.
