Two branches of Lao - Viet Bank allowed to increase charter capital
The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decisions No.652/NHNN-TTGSNH and 653/NHNN-TTGSNH on January 21 to accept the requests of the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Branches of the Lao – Viet Joint – Venture Bank (Lao – Viet Bank) to increase their charter capital.
Accordingly, these branches are allowed to increase charter capital to USD 15 million from USD 3.75 million each.
These branches are responsible for registering and publicizing their new charter capital, and required to send the Document with the attachment of a photocopy of business registration with the new charter capital each to the SBV for approval of the charter capital adjustment in Licenses No.05/NHNN-GP dated March 23, 2000 of the Hanoi Branch of the Lao – Viet Bank and No.08/NHNN-GP dated April 14, 2003 of the HCMC Branch of the Lao – Viet Bank in accordance with the applicable laws.
