New exploration area set for OZ Minerals
Australian miner OZ Minerals has reached an agreement to explore the Mesam licence which adjoins its Okvau tenement in Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province, its quarterly report released yesterday stated.
Last year, OZ announced an inferred resource of 605,000 ounces of gold on the Okvau tenement. “Should results warrant it, OZ Minerals has an exclusive right to enter into a full joint venture to explore and develop the Mesam area,” it said in the results. OZ did not release the name of the owner of the Mesam licence.
