Vietnam Airlines to open HCM City – Yangon route
The nation’s flagship carrier, Vietnam Airlines, will open a direct air route from Ho Chi Minh City to Myanmar’s city of Yangon on November 15, 2010.
The new route will operate four flights a week on Monday, Friday and Sunday by Airbus 320 aircraft.
Flights will depart at 15:45 in Ho Chi Minh City and 18:35 in Yangon.
On the occasion, customers will enjoy a promotional price for return ticket at US$100 (VND1.95 mil).
VNA also plans to increase from 4 to 5 direct flights from Hanoi to Yangon in the future.
