Gold prices below VND35 million/tael

Gold prices on November 16 dropped by VND200,000-300,000/tael to below VND35 million/tael because of decreasing world gold prices.

In Hanoi, SJC gold stood at VND34.90-34.97 million/tael, down VND200,000-230,000/tael compared to transactions on November 15. Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, gold hovered around VND34.88-34.98 million/tael.

At 10.20am, Thang Long Dragon gold at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company was transacted at VND34.80-34.90million/tael.

In the world market, the price of gold was listed at US$1,356.70 per ounce, falling US$2.7 against the price at opening time.
