Gold prices increase slightly

Gold prices rose by VND200,000 per tael to VND35.20 million/tael in early morning transactions on November 15.

At 10.30am, the price of SJC gold at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company in Hanoi was listed at VND35.03-35.15 million/tael.

Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, SJC gold stood at VND35.10-35.20 million/tael.

At Sacombank, gold prices were up VND100,000/tael. SJC gold was transacted at VND35-35.30 million/tael and SBJ gold at VND35.01-35.29 million/tael.

Domestic gold prices showed a slight increase after reaching VND 34.9 million/tael at closing time last weekend. 

On the morning of November 15, the world’s gold price rose sharply to US$1,368-1,376 per ounce, then fell slightly after setting a record of US$1,424 per ounce.
