UK company builds 30 mln USD shoes factory in Tien Giang
The Freeview Industrial Vietnam of the UK launched construction of a 30 million USD leather shoes factory in Chau Thanh district, the southern province of Tien Giang , on Sept. 18.
The factory is scheduled to be operational in early 2011 to produce leather shoes and sport shoes’ parts. It will provide jobs for 5,000 local workers in the first phase and 10,000 workers in the second phase.
