SBA: Completing the second turbine group of Krong H’nang project

Song Ba Joint Stock Company has informed of completing the second turbine group of the Krong H’nang hydropower project as follows:

* On 3rd September 2010, the second turbine group of the Krong H’nang hydropower project was officially put into operation with the National Grid. It had finished generating 72 testing-hours with capacity of 32 MW as stipulated.

* From putting the first turbine group into operation on 25th June 2010 to 1st September 2010, the Krong H’nang hydropower project produced more than 47.57 million KWh of commercial electricity (100% capacity) worth over VND30.3 billion. It is expected to produce about 153 million kWh of commercial electricity worth VND97 billion till the end of 2010.

* After nearly 5 years of construction, two turbine groups of the Krong H’nang hydropower project has been put into operation and contributed an additional 64 MW capacity to the National Grid.
