STG: Explanation for profit after tax in quarter 2/2010

South Logistics Joint Stock Company (SOTRANS) has explained profit increased in quarter 2/2010 beside quarter 2/2009 as follows:

* Profit after tax in quarter 2/2010: 12,269 million dongs

* Profit after tax in quarter 2/2009: 5,625 million dongs

* Increased: 6,644 million dongs (118.11%)

* Net revenue in quarter 2/2010: 162,012 million dongs

* Net revenue in quarter 2/2009: 110,350 million dongs

* Increased: 51,662 million dongs (46.81%)

Profit after tax in quarter 2/2010 increased more than that in quarter 2/2009 because in quarter 2/2010, SOTRANS liquidated an asset attached with transfer right of using land at Ho Nai 3 Town, Tran Bom Dist., Dong Nai Province.
