PPI: Explanation for the plan of raising chartered capital
Pacific Property and Infrastructure Development and Investment Joint Stock Company (PPI) has explained adjustment of the plan of share offering as follows:
On 28th April 2010, the BOD passed the plan of offering shares to raise chartered capital to VND150 billion under the resolution No.06/NQ-HDQT dated 28th April 2010. PPI sent a document to the Vietnam Securities Depository Center about the record date for the shareholder list as 14th May 2010
However, due to change of the securities market and business activities, the BOD has been unanimous to adjust few contents of the share offering. On 11th May 2010, the BOD issued the resolution No.06b/NQ-HDQT about adjusting the plan of offering shares.
On 21st May 2010, PPI sent letters to ask for opinions of shareholders under the shareholder list on the record of 14th May 2010.
On 9th June 2010, the ballot result was released with 81.98% ayes about adjusting the plan of share offering.
From 10th June 2010 until now, the company has done procedures for offering shares to get approval of the State Securities Commission.
