PVN exceeds its set goals

Over the past five months, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) has exceeded all its set targets, especially for turnover and payment to the state budget, as compared to the same period last year.

Its oil output reached 6 million tonnes and gas exploitation similarly gained 3.98 billion cu.m.

In particular, the price of crude oil stood at US$82 per barrel on average, up US$32 per barrel against the previous year, with earnings from crude oil exports reaching US$3.65 billion, up 35 percent compared to 2009.

From now until the end of this year, the PVN has continued to push the rate of progress of constructions, operating safe systems of supplying gas, the Phu My Protein Factory and thermal power plants, as well as arranging enough capital to deploy more projects.
