VCB: Announcement of an additional issuance of stock
Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam announces the record date for an additional issuance of stock as follows:
* Stock symbol: VCB
* Stock type: Common Stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: June 04, 2010
* (In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on June 04 & 07, 2010, sellers will not receive the right)
* Record date: June 08, 2010
* Exercise ratio: 100:9.279 (Each shareholder who owns 01 shares will receive 01 right, and every 100 rights will be entitled to buy 9.279 new share)
The number of shares distributed to shareholders will be rounded down. The undistributed shares (If any) and fractional parts will be offered to the shareholders who registered to buy according to the ownership ratio or decided by the Board of Directors to offer to other investors at a negotiated price (Not less than the price issued to the existing shareholders).
- For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A owns 1,000 shares, the calculation in theory will be: 1.000*9.279/100 = 92.79 shares. After rounding down, the number of shares he can buy will be 92 new shares.
