CTD: Announcement of bonus and dividend payment
HOSE announces the record date to close shareholder list of Cotec Construction Joint Stock Company:
* Stock symbol: CTD
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND 10,000
* Ex-right date: May 25, 2010
* (In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on May 25 & 26, 2010, sellers will not receive the rights.)
* Record date: May 27, 2010
* Purpose: To issue bonus shares to the existing shareholders
The second cash dividend payment of 2009
- Dividend pay-out ratio: 10%/ par value (VND1,000 / share)
- Payment date: June 11, 2010
Bonus issuance
Exercise ratio: 3:2 (Each shareholder who owns 01 shares will receive 01 right and every 03 rights will get 02 new shares). The number of bonus shares distributed to each shareholder will be rounded down. The fractional parts will be bought back for treasury stock at VND10,000/share. Those parts will be added to ESOP in 2010.
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 1,150 shares, the calculation is: (1,150*2)/3 = 766.6 shares. Therefore, shareholder A will receive 766 shares and VND6,000 (=0,6*VND10,000).
- Issue volume: 12,300,000 shares
- Shares which are under transfer restriction still get bonus shares.
- Bonus shares are free to transfer, but shares in ESOP for employees in 2009 will be restricted until the end of ESOP 2009 (June 30, 2011).
- Expected trading date: July 02, 2010

- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: At the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: At Cotec Construction Joint Stock Company.
Please submit ID card and Shareholder certificates on receipt of dividend.
