ST8: The record date for stock dividend payment & annual meeting
HOSE announces the record date to pay the second dividend installment of 2009 in stock and hold the 2010 Annual General Meeting of Sieu Thanh Joint-Stock Corporation:
* Stock symbol: ST8
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND 10,000
* Ex-right date: April 16, 2010
* (In case of put-through trading with volume from 100,000 shares and over on April 16 & 19, 2010, sellers will not receive the rights.)
* Record date: April 20, 2010
* Dividend Payment (The 2nd Payment of 2009)
- Dividend pay-out ratio: 15% (The one who owns 01 share at the record date will receive 01 right, and every 100 rights will receive 15 new shares.) The distributed volume will be rounded down. The fraction parts (If any) will be cancelled.
- Issue volume: 1,551,803 shares
- For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 123 shares, the calculation as follows:
+ The number of shares distributed in theory: 123 x 15% = 18.45 shares
+ The number of shares in practice: 18 shares
+ The rights to receive dividend shares are not transferable. The new shares are transferable.
