TRI: Explanation for loss in quarter 4/2009 and in 2009

Sai Gon Beverages Joint Stock Company (TRIBECO) has explained loss in the quarter 4/2009 and in 2009 as follows:

* After increasing capital to balance financial activities, the company focused in restoration of sales activities, distribution system, marketing activities, advertising activities and research activities.

* Therefore, the company continued losing quarter 4/2009 and in 2009 because the company had to solve problems of the previous years. Selling expenses and marketing expenses increased VND21 billion in comparison with that in quarter 2008 but net revenue decreased VND8.2 billion in comparison with that in 2008. However, the company overcame a difficult period. And the company has tried to increase effect of its operation to have a good business result in future.
