Hong Kong, a potential market for exporters
Businesses in the central city of Da Nang are encouraged to explore the market for fine arts and handicraft products in Hong Kong as the global demands is increasing in the sector.
Tina Phan, Director Indochina of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (TDC) gave the suggestion at a conference in Da Nang on February 1, focusing on exports through Hong Kong, which is considered an international trade centre.
At the meeting, jointly held by the Da Nang Trade Promotion Centre and the HK TDC, Tina Phan introduced Hong Kong’s convenient geographical location and its seaport and aviation capacities while underlining its low-cost duty system and open investment policies.
Therefore, Hong Kong remains not only an ideal partner for businesses that seek a potential consuming market but also a transition channel for Vietnamese exporters, she said.
