E-customs procedures to be applied for exports
The customs sector plans to apply e-customs procedures on 60 percent of export activities this year.
The Vietnam General Administration of Customs (VGAC) will apply e-customs in three steps.
At the first step, the information and technology and data centre will automatically receive the information. Customs offices will check detailed e-customs producers at the second steps and finally, exports will be check directly.
The plan is expected to reduce time in customs procedures for both the customs sector and export enterprises, according to the VGAC.
