Ha Noi to host 2009 Viet Nam Medi-Pharm
A total of 250 domestic and overseas pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies will showcase their products at the 2009 Viet Nam Medi–Pharm Expo in Ha Noi, from December 2-5.
With more than 300 booths, the exhibition, the 16th of its kind, will display a wide range of oriental and patented medicines, vaccines, supplementary foodstuffs and medical equipment manufactured by companies from France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the US, India, the Republic of Korea, mainland China, Taiwan and Malaysia.
The President of the Viet Nam Pharmaceutical Company Association (VNPCA), Do Van Doanh, told the press last week that the event was an integral part of the national key trade promotions programme.
The 2009 Viet Nam Medi–Pharm Expo would enable local and foreign businesses to find out more about advanced Vietnamese and international pharmaceutical services and products, as well as seek out business opportunities and new partners, he added.
A spokesperson for the Expo’s organising board said that more than 100 memoranda of understanding and co-operation contracts had been signed between Vietnamese and international enterprises during the previous Viet Nam Medi-Pharm Expo.
