Hanoi to host 2009 Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo
A total of 250 domestic and overseas pharmaceuticals and medical equipment companies will showcase their products at the 2009 Vietnam Medi- Pharm Expo in Hanoi from Dec. 2-5.
With more than 300 stands, the exhibition, the 16th of its kind, will display a wide range of oriental and patent medicines, vaccines, supplementary foodstuffs and medical equipment manufactured by companies from France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the US, India, the Republic of Korea, China, Taiwan and Malaysia.
The President of the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Companies Association (VNPCA), Do Van Doanh, told the press on Nov. 25 that the event is an integral part of the national key trade promotions programme.
The 2009 Vietnam Medi- P harm Expo will enable local and foreign businesses to find out more about advanced Vietnamese and international pharmaceutical services and products and to seek out business opportunities and new partners, he added.
A spokesperson for the Expo’s organising board said that more than 100 memoranda of understanding and cooperation contracts were signed between Vietnamese and international enterprises during the previous Vietnam Medi-pharm Expo.
