VTO: Extraordinary Announcement

On September 18th 2009, the Ministry of Transportation of Vietnam issued Official Document No.649/BGTVT-PC to approve in principle the proposal of Vietnam Tanker Joint Stock Company (Vitaco) to extend the operation time of Petrolimex 04 Ship on international shipping routes until August 28th 2013.

The annual profit of Petrolimex 04 is VND62 billion. Therefore, when the ship is given another 3-year extension on international routes, the estimated profit from Petrolimex 04 will be higher than the initial norms. Besides, profit of Petrolimex 04 will continue increase from June 2010 when she deducts enough depreciation.

The Company are also trying to gain VND1,185 billion in revenue and VND120 billion in profit after tax.
