Guangdong delegation seeks business opportunities in Hai Phong

A business delegation from China’s Guangdong province, led by Governor Huang Hua Hua, visited the northern port city of Hai Phong on October 18 to seek cooperation and investment opportunities.

The delegation, which also included the Vice Mayor of Shenzhen city, worked with leaders and relevant agencies in Hai Phong city.

Both sides exchanged views on measures to boost economic cooperation, focusing on speeding up the implementation of a project to build An Duong industrial park in the city.

The project undertaken by Tham Viet Investment Co. Ltd from Shenzhen has a statutory capital of US$40 million. The first phase of the project will cover 209 ha with an investment capital of US$175 million.

Hai Phong authorities will create favourable conditions for the investor to build the IP with modern and environmental friendly technologies to contribute to socio-economic development and job generation for the city.
