Work begins next month on first transshipment port
Construction of the country’s first international transshipment terminal port in the southern province of Khanh Hoa will begin at the end of October, project investor Vietnam National Shipping Lines has announced.
As per the national seaports master plan through 2020, Van Phong Port will be the only one of its kind in the country. The port is designed by Japan’s Nippon Koei Co. and Vietnam’s Port Coast Consultant Co.
