ODA disbursement reaches 90 percent of yearly plan
Official development assistance (ODA) disbursement in the first nine months of this year was estimated at US$1,715 million, 90 percent of the 2009 plan. The total included US$1,536 million in loans and US$179 million in non-refundable aid, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Total ODA inflows under the signed agreements during this period reached US$3,326 million.
In the first nine months, the amount of investment credit capital was only VND18.8 thousand billion, or 53.4 percent of the yearly target.
583 investment projects were licensed with a total registered capital of US$7.67 billion, down 57.3 percent in the number of projects and down 85.7 percent in terms of registered capital compared to the same period last year.
