GMC: Business result in August 2009

Sai Gon Garment Manufacturing Trade Joint Stock Company (GMC) has informed of business result in August 2009 as follows:

1. Sales

* Sales: VND44.5 billion, in which sales of core business: VND33.9 billion

* Accumulation for the first 8 months: VND259.4 billion, reaching 70% of the plan

2. Profit:

* Profit: VND 13 billion, in which profit of core business: VND 3 billion

* Accumulation for the first 8 months: VND36 billion, reaching 109% of the plan

3. New customers:

* Ecomill: The order of Ecomill has brought USD145,000 to the company within 2 months. At present, the company is negotiating with this partner for the next orders in November and December 2009. The orders are exported to the US and Australian markets.

* Asmara: The company has just completed a deal with Asmara worth USD172,000. It will be implemented in October and November 2009. The order is exported to European and Canadian markets. Currently, the company is negotiating with Asmara for the next orders at the beginning of 2010.
