Co-operation deal to boost exports
The VCCI Exhibition Company under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) signed an agreement in Ho Chi Minh City on September 14 with the Chinese Global Sources Company to boost Vietnamese exports.
Global Sources is a world leading communications company and China’s main trade promotion company, and has customer networks in more than 240 countries. With this co-operative agreement, Vietnamese exporters have a better chance to access the over 829,000 international importers who are Global Sources’ members.
The programme is part of VCCI’s strategy to help Vietnamese businesses diversify their products and boost exports.
Sara Benecker, Managing Director of Global Sources, said that the co-operation deal will not only open up a number of opportunities for Vietnamese suppliers but also bring more choice for international customers.
