Seminar on Vietnamese-Japanese technology to be held in Da Nang
A Vietnam-Japan economic forum and a seminar on linking Vietnamese-Japanese technology supply and demand will be held in Da Nang City on August 14-15, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology.
The two events are part of a technology transfer programme jointly undertaken by the Department of Technology Development and Application, under the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, and Japan’s Global Innovators LLC (GLIN) Company.
The programme recently chose Japan’s 150 biggest businesses in Vietnam for a survey of Vietnamese businesses who supply supportive products to Japanese businesses.
There are now 17 Vietnamese businesses listed by the technology transfer programme, and 11 Japanese partners ready to connect with them.
Some cooperation agreements on technology transfer between Vietnamese businesses and Japanese partners are expected to be signed at the coming seminar.
The Vietnam-Japan economic forum is sponsored by the Japan-Vietnam Festival Organising Committee, the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology, and Da Nang City in coordination with the Japan External Trade Organisation and the GLIN Company.
