Malaysia seeks investment opportunities in central region
Around 15 state and private enterprises from Malaysia gathered at a seminar in Da Nang city on August 20 to discuss investment opportunities between Vietnam and Malaysia. Most of the Malaysian enterprises operate in the field of manufacturing, design, or service.
The event offered businesses in the central region an opportunity to introduce Malaysian investors to incentive policies for infrastructure construction and to share practical experiences with each other.
The seminar was co-organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and the Da Nang Investment Promotion Centre.
Currently, Malaysia’s investment in the central region remains limited, accounting for less than 5 percent of Malaysia’s projects in Vietnam.
