Investors to form bond association

The Vietnam Bond Market Association will be set up on August 14, the Dau Tu Chung Khoan newspaper reported Monday.

The association will include more than 60 investors including local and overseas banks and brokerages, the newspaper said.

The group will facilitate information exchange and enhance cooperation among its members as well as between members and the government in a bid to develop the bond market.

The association will also support the government in “perfecting policies and the legal frame for the debt market,” the paper said.
