Buon Ma Thuot could become ‘holy land’ for coffee
Dak Lak Province’s Buon Ma Thuot Town has the potential to become a global center and “holy land” for coffee, according to Professor Tom Cannon of the UK-based University of Liverpool.
Cannon, a strategic development expert, said during a meeting with Trung Nguyen Corporation’s Chairman Dang Le Nguyen Vu Monday that he was interested in the idea of turning Buon Ma Thuot into a “Coffee Holy Land.”
It was a daring and ambitious idea that, if implemented, would make the town an internationally recognized trademark of Vietnam, he said.
