Bao Viet Securities fund plans to sell its stake in Petrolimex
Bao Viet Securities Investment Fund, a Hanoi-based fund, plans to sell its entire stake in Petrolimex International Trading Joint-Stock Co. next week as it restructures its investment portfolio.
The fund registered to sell 518,000 Petrolimex shares, it said in a statement filed with the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange’s website after the market closed Wednesday.
The sale starts July 10 and will be completed by January 11,2010, according to the statement.
PetroVietnam insurance revenue more than doubles: report
PetroVietnam Insurance Joint-Stock Corp.’s total revenue more than doubled year-onyear in the first half, at VND1.7 trillion (US$96 million), the Thoi Bao Kinh Te Vietnam newspaper reported, without saying where it got the information.
Vinafco to pay dividend late this month
Vinafco Joint Stock Corp., a marine-freight transportation company, plans to pay shareholders a dividend of VND400 per share late this month.
The company will make the payment on July 27, according to a filing on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange’s bulletin Thursday.
Shares of Hanoi-based Vinafco rose 4.6 percent to VND11,300 on the exchange Thursday. The company has 22.6 million outstanding shares, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
