PGC: Business Result in the first six months

Petrolimex Gas Joint Stock Company (PGC) disclosed the business result in the first half of 2009 as follows:

In Quarter 2/2009, the company’s profit is estimated about VND25.8 billion, equal to 188% profit of Quarter 1/2009 and 427% compared with the same period of 2008. Therefore, total profit of the first six months of 2009 is estimated about VND39.5 billion, equal to 127% of the expected profit of the whole year 2009 and 205% compared with the same period of 2008. Actually, an auditing company is auditing PGC’s financial statements so that PGC can announced exact figures to the public.

The first-six-month profit increases because PGC has restructured the company and launched sales plans in order to raise output and change structure of products since the beginning of the year. The company began construction and are trying to hasten the progress of the project Office Building with a area of 1,000m2 at 322 Dien Bien Phu, Binh Thanh, Hochiminh.
