BVS: Explanation for Operating result in QII- 2009
Bao Viet Securities Company explained the Operating result in QII/ 2009 as follows:
- Stock market in Vietnam went up fast in May and June/ 2009, which made more advantages for the company’s business in QII/2009, specially in self dealing and brokerage. Revenue from brokerage activities increased up to VND 24 billion (an increase of 300% compared to QI) thanks to trading fees from customers. Revenue from self-dealing activities increased up to VND 36 billion (an increase of 200% compared to QI). Accordingly, total revenue in QII/2009 went up to VND 68 billion, nearly 200% compared to QI/2009.
- Regarding expenses: Company got back provision for shares of VND 200 billion, and some shares, which company invested in, has profit as well. So, expenses decreased by VND 43 billion ( decreased 761% compared to QI/2009)
