Businesses share experience in applying digital signature

More than 100 businesses and organisations in central and central highland regions gathered at a conference in Da Nang on July 30 to share experience in applying digital signature.

The conference entitled “Digital signature - the key to e-commerce and e-government” was organised to help businesses improve their awareness of the importance of applying digital signature to e-commerce and e-government. It introduced the rational for digital signature, techniques for applying it, practical applications including online tax procedures, and opportunities and challenges presented by digital signature.

The conference is under the framework of the project “Supporting IT applications in business to serve integration and development for the 2006-2010 period” launched by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

After this conference, VCCI will hold two similar conferences in Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho.
