22 project licenses revoked at border economic zone
The Tay Ninh provincial government has revoked 22 investment project licenses at the Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone due to delays, an official said Friday.
Head of the zone’s management board, Phan Minh Thanh, said several projects had been stalled by capital shortages while other delays were due to the Ben Cau District Site Clearance Committee’s failure to hand over land to investors.
He also said insufficient infrastructure had plagued investors at the southern zone along the border with Cambodia.
The provincial People’s Committee has asked 34 investors at Moc Bai’s 46 remaining projects to report their project development plans.
