Vietnamese footwear exports to Spain increase
Despite Spain cutting back on footwear imports in the first quarter of this year, Vietnamese exports to the country increased by 23 percent over the same period last year, reaching 8.5 million pairs worth more than 73 million euros.
According to the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE), Vietnam ranks second among footwear exporters to Spain after China, which exports 78.3 million pairs.
Spain reduced footwear imports from Italy, Brazil, Portugal and Indonesia but increased those from India, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Cambodia.
