Taxes slashed on 9,000 goods imported from Japan
The Ministry of Finance has decided to reduce taxes on many kinds of goods imported from Japan as of June 12.
Vietnam will cut or abolish tariffs in 8,771 out of the 9,390 tax lines included in the current list.
Among the affected tax lines, some 2,300 will be granted preferential import tax status at even lower levels in the fields of textiles and garments, steel, paper, rubber, plastic, food processing and minerals.
