CitiBank Vietnam allowed to extend duration of swap and option operations
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), on June 5, 2009 issued Document No.4186/NHNN-CSTT to allow Citibank Vietnam to extend the duration of interest rate swaps together with options of interest rate or currencies in accordance with Document No.4493/NHNN-CSTT dated May 20, 2008 on the SBV regulations of interest and exchange rates and other relevant regulations.
The extension duration for Citibank Vietnam to conduct the aforesaid transactions is one year from the issuing date.
