Commercial loans for Ca Mau 2 thermal power project

The Prime Minister has approved the content of the appendix to the guarantee letter for commercial loans by KfW Bank, Calyon Bank and Fortis Banque France S.A Bank for Ca Mau 2 thermal power project.

The Prime Minister has designated the Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the Government, to sign the appendix for the guarantee letter and for the Ministry of Justice to provide legal counsel on the appendix of the loan contract, borrower and guarantor.

Previously, on June 13, 2008, the Ca Mau 2 thermal power was officially connected to the national grid.
