PGS announces the notice of record date for Dividend payment as follows:

- Issuer: Petrovietnam Southern Gas JSC

- Stock code: PGS

- Par value: VND 10,000

- Stock type: Common stock

- Record date: 22/5/2009

- Ex-date:

+ For T+3 transactions: 20/5/2009

- Reasons: Second Dividend payment 2008

+ Exercise rate: 4.5% (Shareholders receive VND 450 for every share they own)

+ Exercise date: 16/06/2009

+ Place of payment:

- For deposited shares: securities companies where shares of shareholders have been deposited.

- For undeposited shares: Petrovietnam Southern Gas JSC from 16/6/2009.

Securities certificate and Identification Card (original copy) are required. In case of authorization, a proxy with certified seal of the local authority is further requested in addtion to the mentioned above.

Vietnam Securities Depository suspends the depository of PGS on 21/5; 22/5 and 25/05/2009.
