New study to gauge industry competitiveness
The Vietnam Competition Administration Department announced Tuesday it was planning to invite tenders for a study evaluating the competitive environment in the country’s 10 major economic fields.
The winner of the bid will submit a report containing an overall picture of the market and an analysis of the competitive environment in main economic areas, according to the department, which functions under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Bidders must possess sufficient experience in conducting research and in providing consultancy services related to the laws on competition.
The 10 fields selected for evaluation are: automobiles; cement; milk and dairy products; steel; animal feed; telecommunications; air transport; insurance; banking; and gas and oil distribution.
